Sir Mick Jagger – Rocking His Way To Old Age
Its offical, old age offically Rocks in the form of Sir Mick Jagger!
Proof that age is no barrier to rock and roll the Rolling Stones legend turned 65 on Saturday (26th). With another anniversary down, he now reaps all the benefits of being a senior citizen.
The man, whose net worth is £230 million, is now eligible to claim his £87-a-week state pension and free bus pass! Not that he’ll be availing of the bus pass.
Jagger has given no indication that his age will bring forth smoking jacket, slippers and meals on wheels treatment. In fact, Jaggers personal website fails to mention the coming of age.
In a candid interview last October “We’re not stopping anytime that I know about”.
An astounding 46 years after Rolling Stones formed they are still going strong, with original members Sir Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards and drummer Charlie Watts at their very best.
Brian Jones the other founding member and man responsible for naming the band was fired from the band and sadly died in 1969.
The band last toured in 2006. The tour entitled “A Bigger Bang” generated more than $400 million US dollars.
