Bon Jovi Plan Free Gig In Central Park

Bon JoviIn 11 days time (12 July) Bon Jovi will be tearing up Central Park (New York, US) in a rip roaring free gig for all you crazy fans out there.

Tickets for the event will be limited to 60,000 as the grounds people for the park wish to preserve, as best as possible, the grass that the public has invested so much money in. If the grass is as luscious just after the concert as it was before I’ll be amazed.

The Jovi have a die hard following that love to do nothing more than standing in one spot, jumping up and down – with one hand thrust into the air – all while listening to their long haired heroes on stage. That grass, Mr. Groundsperson, is mud.

The concert is being held to conclude the bands self proclaimed ‘most successful tour in the world this year’ called ‘Lost Highway’.

The event will not be televised so you will either be there with your camera phones or you won’t see it until all the attendees upload their video’s to Youtube afterwards.

Leave us a note when you have them uploaded – won’t you?
